Meet LOCO Pickleball Club Instructors

LOCO Pickleball was formed in 2024 by close friends Lorraine and Carol with aim of promoting the development and growth of Pickleball throughout Nottinghamshire. They are both Pickleball England-accredited Club Instructors with Safeguarding training, First Aid training and enhanced DBS clearance whilst also being covered by Public Liability Insurance.

They are passionate about making their training sessions fresh and fun for all different skill levels, age and mobility. There is clearly a demand for this growing sport and it is their intention to increase the number of players participating such that Pickleball clubs can be formed across the county. ​The sport's appeal among both young adults and the senior population highlights its inclusive nature, (almost) anyone can play. You can see players on the court from 5 years old to 90+ years. Compared to other sports, there is a low (but never zero) chance of injury, a low cost to entry, and it is as physically strenuous as you want it to be. Once you try the sport you are hooked!
